Who builds a site that doesn't work with Google? First Choice Power does. I was never able to sign up for auto pay. I couldn't even log into the account I made, the website just hangs. Wouldn't that be the company's priority? to get paid? You can't use their website and trying to get someone by phone is even worse. Customer service is a joke. I couldn't even get through today to find out HOW... Read more

I have had soo many problems trying to pay my bill with First Choice Electric ever since Direct Energy took over. Sad that Direct has caused me to transfer my service. I've been a First Choice customer for over 7 years, but I am tired of the chaos of trying to pay bill. If I had wanted Direct Energy....I would have gone with them. Never! I don't understand why Direct Energy would infringe so much... Read more

We live in Portland, Maine and keep getting bills on our Discover Card from First Choice Power in Houston, Texas. We cannot figure out why this has happened. It has happened twice now. We disputed the charges and they were credited but then reversed by Discover. Why is this happening? Why would a Texas Power Company be billing us? I need this to be resolved as soon as possible. I want someone... Read more

Too many issues with this company that we never requested to be our energy service provider. Customer service is horrible worse nightmare. I called because I received a statement from your company that I was not even aware of. When I called I was transferred 5 different times hung up on twice put on hold for what seemed an eternity. Finally I was able to speak to a so called "supervisor"Kenya... Read more

A salesman for First Choice Power was going door-to-door in my neighborhood and when he came to my door I told him I was not interested and he refused to leave. After telling him my baby was taking a nap and I would not open my door to please leave he said no and insisted I open my door. After asking four or five times, I then threatened to call the police. That's when he told me to call the cops... Read more

My Transmission Distribution Charges (TDU) shot up to $20.08 in the last 4 months on a meter that only uses 18kwh/month. I have another account with Champion Energy on the same property and those other meter TDU charges are $6.49 per month Champion says current TDU charges are uniform at $9.98/month and that their, Champion's, charges are passed trough from the utility without any mark-up. I... Read more

Katie Trantham was the most rude, unprofessional respresentaibr I've ever dealt with. Will no longer continue my business. She laughed when I was upset , couldn't answer my questions and was very childish and uneducated about the company. My advice, hire a professional not a rude child. I could here her phone going off and silent pauses shortly after as if she were texting or playing on... Read more
